Matcha waffles

Waffles are always a great idea for a snack or breakfast, especially when they are healthy.

With this recipe, you can make delicious waffles without gluten or lactose and add our favorite ingredient: matcha. Are you ready to make them?

Ingredients

For 2 waffles:

  • 2 eggs
  • Vanilla extract, cinnamon, or spices (to taste)
  • 100g ripe banana
  • 100g ground oats
  • Stevia or honey (optional)
  • 4g baking powder
  • 4g Culinary Matcha

Instructions

Beat the two eggs and the banana, vanilla extract, and chosen spices. Using a blender will make the process much easier and quicker.

In another bowl, combine the ground oat flour, baking powder, and matcha, then add to the previous mixture along with the banana. Finally, sweeten the batter to taste (optional).

Grease the waffle iron and heat it. Once hot, pour the batter onto the waffle iron; it should not be too runny or too thick. The cooking time will depend on the power of the appliance, but usually between 5 and 10 minutes.

Add your favorite toppings. In our case, maple syrup, raspberries, and plant-based yogurt. They can be frozen without any problem. They keep well in the refrigerator for 3 to 4 days.
