A matcha latte inspired by the flavour of carrot cake—creamy, spiced, and perfect to enjoy over ice.
Ingredients
For the carrot cake syrup:
1 small carrot
1 tablespoon of walnuts
A small piece of fresh ginger
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
Dates
Orange zest
2–3 tablespoons of water
For the latte:
Ice
200 ml of milk or plant-based drink
1 g of matcha
60 ml of water at 70–80 °C
Instructions

Add the carrot, walnuts, ginger, cinnamon, dates, orange zest, and water to a blender. Blend until smooth and creamy.

Add 2–3 tablespoons of the syrup to the bottom of a glass. Add ice and pour the milk or plant-based drink on top. Prepare the matcha separately by whisking 1 g of matcha with hot water (70–80 °C). Pour it slowly over the milk and stir before drinking.
