three things I actually do every night
Right so I'm not one for a 12-step routine, honestly I'd never stick to it. But I've had a few people ask what I do for my skin so here it is — three things, that's it.
Double cleanse (oil first, then a gentle milk cleanser), a decent hyaluronic serum while my face is still a bit damp, and then a thicker moisturiser on top to seal it in. That's basically it. Takes maybe five minutes.
I've been doing this consistently for about two years now and I do think it's made a difference — not in some dramatic way, more like my skin just looks less tired. Less dull. To be fair I also take collagen daily and I think that plays a part, but I can't separate out what's doing what at this point.
Mind you I still have rough skin weeks, especially when work is mental. So it's not a magic fix. Just something that works for me most of the time.
