pollen is not my friend apparently

So I've always just assumed my spring breakouts were stress or whatever, but this year I'm genuinely starting to think the pollen situation plays more of a role than I realised. Like my skin isn't just oily or dry — it's reactive. Redness that comes and goes, a couple of those deep ones along my jaw that appear almost overnight. It's not a pattern I can pin on diet or sleep because honestly nothing's changed on that front. What I have noticed is that keeping things really simple helps. Like I stripped back to almost nothing for a couple of weeks — gentle wash, niacinamide, SPF, done — and things calmed down a bit. I also started being more consistent with my collagen in the mornings, not because I think it's some fix, but it's just part of a routine that feels grounding when everything else is up in the air. I genuinely don't know if it's doing something specific for the reactive stuff or if it's just... part of not skipping mornings, you know? Either way I'm staying on it. Spring is just a lot for skin I think.

jaw ones from pollen never even crossed my mind until last year, always blamed stress
