ok so frozen mango and matcha is a thing
Basically I was trying to use up some frozen mango that's been sitting there for weeks and ended up throwing it in with ceremonial matcha, a bit of ginger, coconut milk and — this is the weird bit — a spoonful of collagen powder. Wasn't expecting much.
It came out this really odd green-yellow colour but honestly tasted dead good. The mango takes the edge off the bitterness and the ginger just lifts the whole thing. Collagen dissolved fine, couldn't taste it at all.
1 tsp ceremonial matcha (sifted, mixed with a bit of hot water first)
big handful frozen mango
200ml coconut milk
small knob of fresh ginger, grated
1 scoop collagen
tiny pinch of salt — don't skip this
Blend everything. That's it. I had it for breakfast three days running which is basically unheard of for me with smoothies.
