honestly warming up is the one thing I never skip

Right so I used to be pure guilty of this — walk in, load the bar, go. Especially on busy days at the gym when you just want to get in and out. But I've had a couple of moments where my body basically said naw. Tight hip flexor mid-squat is not a vibe. Takes you out for days and then you're behind on everything. 10-15 minutes of proper movement prep makes such a difference tbh. Not just a wee stretch and call it done — I mean actually raising your heart rate, getting the joints moving through range, activating whatever you're about to hammer. Glute bridges before lower body, band pull-aparts before any press. Basic stuff but it works. I feel way more dialled in for the actual session too, like mentally ready to go rather than just... there.

already commented on this one but aye, still guilty of skipping it when the bairns have kept me up the night before and I'm just trying to get through the session 😂
