cottage cheese toast but hear me out

Right so I know cottage cheese has a bit of a reputation and honestly fair enough, the texture is not for everyone. But I've been doing this thing where I just blitz it briefly with a fork until it's closer to a thick spread and suddenly it's completely different. Whole grain toast, blitzed cottage cheese, sliced cucumber, everything bagel seasoning on top. That's basically it. Takes maybe four minutes if you're slow about it. The protein is genuinely decent — I checked and a decent portion sits around 20g which for something that quick is hard to beat. I've been eating this as my first meal and it keeps me going through a solid block of work without that weird mid-afternoon slump I used to get. Mind you I did try it with tomato the first time and it went a bit watery and sad. Cucumber holds up much better. Radishes also work if you want a bit of bite.

yeah the blitz trick actually fixes it, I sometimes throw a bit of chilli flakes on mine before a session and it hits different

aye I started adding it to pre-long run meals for the protein hit, sits better than I expected tbh

cucumber and everything bagel seasoning is such a good combo, I put that seasoning on basically everything now
